Keys to press What they Do
Caps Lock Type everything in capitals (look for caps lock light)
Shift Hold to type a capital letter or symbol
Backspace Delete he letter before the cursor
Enter Go to a new line
F7 Run the spell checker
PgUp or PgDn Scroll the page up or down
Ctrl Makes other keys perform special tasks:-
Ctrl + A Select everything
Ctrl +1 Make your text italic
Ctrl + B Make your text bold
Ctrl + U Underline your text
Ctrl + S Save your work
Ctrl + P Print your work
Ctrl +Z Undo your last move
Ctrl + Y Redo your last move
Ctrl + C Copy the selected text
Ctrl + V Paste the selected text
Ctrl + X Cut the selected text and saves it so it can be pasted somewhere else
Windows Key + left arrow key Snaps (moves) file to the left of the screen
Windows Key + right arrow key Snaps (moves) file to the right of the screen
Windows Key + up arrow key Snaps (moves) file to the top of the screen
Windows Key + up arrow key Snaps (moves) file to the bottom of the screen
Windows Key Opens/Closes Start Menu
Windows Key + X Opens Context Menu
Windows Key + E Opens File Explorer
Windows Key + L Locks Desktop
Alt + PrtScr Prints Screen and sends to One Drive
Tab Moves cursor to next tab stop - creates neat formatting
